When the bride says she wants to take time after some couples’ portraits to get photos with the animals, you know it’s about to be a great day. I wasn’t surprised to have a good day, though. When I met Annie and Will earlier in the year I could tell we’d have a fun day when the wedding finally came around. They’re kind and a little reserved but they have a really fun streak in them, too. Not only are they super comfortable with each other, but they were so genuinely excited to get to see each other. They decided not to do a first look and the smiles on their faces when Annie was walking down the aisle were so special.
The icing on the cake of this beautiful day wasn’t the perfect fall colors (although that made me extra happy) but it was the connections between everybody present. Between Will’s sister officiating and giving a truly tear jerking speech and the excitement on Annie’s parents’ faces, you could tell this day was for more than just the two of them. I could have spent another day or two shooting this wedding but I think the highlights below are a great way to remember such a beautiful day.
